Halal turkey is now a problem?

Pamele Geller is the director of Stop Islamization of America. She will come up with countless reasons to bash on Islam as an unacceptable religion. Her latest allegation was against Butterball, one of the most famous Turkey producers in the United States. She didn’t approve of the fact that Butterball was processing halal turkeys without the knowledge of the non-Muslim consumers. In her article she wrote, "we are being forced into consuming meat slaughtered by means of a torturous method: Islamic slaughter.” If one were to simply study Islam, though, it would be made clear that Islam is a great advocate for animal rights. The slaughtering method in Islam is anything but torturous. The animal is to be slaughtered in the most just and painless manner with a swift cut of the throat, thereby abating as much pain and discomfort as possible.
